View Full Version : Cake Poker
I caught word last night from one of you all that Cake no longer allows props (not our team, not taking signups) at NL games below 2/4. What this means for you is that the 1/2NL and lower games just got a lot softer. It might be a good time to give them a go: http://www.rakebacknation.com/cake-poker/.

I wouldn't have thought it was possible for them to get much softer.

It's a standard 33% rakeback deal with no rules

You are eligible for bonuses and rewards if you're a rakeback player.

1) can we use Epassporte?
2) re-sizable tables?
3) what is the current sign-up bonus?

don't they take out all the promotions from our pay...For example, if we get an ipod or win a tourney with a gold card, don't they then subtract this ammount from our monthly pay. I believe this works with bonuses also. They simply subtract the bonus money from our rb money, so we cannot get both...Just wondering if this still holds true..thanks

I had a rakeback account on redstar and i would guess it works the same on cake poker(same skin)
If u win anything from using your gold chips in a tourney, its your to keep
Same goes for the gold card, but, if u cash in a gold card for money, then that is subtracted
As for the sign up bonus, u get it but, not actually all of it. Ill explain
U deposit $500 and u will get a $500 sign up bonus as well. Lets say for the mnth, u generate $200 in rake. With the %33 rakeback u would then get paid $66 for that month, but, instead you have to subtract your bonuses that u cleared from the $200. Lets say u made $50 in bonuses, your then net rake would be $150 and not the $200. U would then get %33 rakeback on that $150 and/or recieve at months end $50 instead of the $68.
Final conclusion, with sign up bonus and rakeback on $200 rake generated u would get $50 in bonus money and $50 in rakeback for a total of $100
Without the sign up bopnus and a straight %33 rakeback deal would get u only $68. So, the bonus is beneficial. $32 less on straight rakeback of %33 as shown above expample.

Right on. Bonuses are deducted from total rake before the 33% is taken.
They also 'have the right' to deduct deposit fees, promotional gifts and other things, but from our reports it doesn't look like they're making those deductions yet. I would expect them to do so as they grow.

They deduct deposit fees from their prop team. 8% for epass. (no new hires so don't bother looking)
