View Full Version : Another crazy Pacific Poker Tournament
Note that this tournament is open to both new registrations and those that registered for the event held last Sunday:
Time: Friday April 25th at 3pm EST
Name: PTP & RBN WPC Qualifier 2
Buyin: $27.50
Prize Pool:
-1 WPC seat ($1050 value) for every 10 entrants. If less than 10 players enter, 1 WPC seat will still be awarded to the winner.
-The next 10 places will receive a free entry into Pacific’s WSOP sub-satellite ($110 value)
To register for the tournament:
You must not already have a Pacific Poker account
You need to create one with this link:

Only by registering with the above link will you be able to join in the event.
The WPC event is a $1050 $3million guaranteed event on April 26th at 10am est. The $110 WSOP sub-satellite will is the one on May 2nd at 4pm eastern. The registration process is done manually; winners won't be automatically registered when the tourney ends.
The WPC looks like it will overlay, so the value of that entry may actually be much more than $1050. The value here is great for those of you that can take advantage of it. Our last event overlayed $239 per player; not bad for a $27.50 buy-in.
Pacific offers a 100% deposit bonus up to $400; 25% of it is released instantly. The rest needs to be cleared
No US Players, issue your complaints directly to congress.

No, unfortunately Pacific doesn't offer rakeback. But we do hope to run more events like this one at Pacific in the future, so there will likely be some continual value.

Guess there is something wrong there at pacific since im also not be able to register for the "first depositors" WPC freeroll :mad:

If you aren't able to, we'll talk to Pacific about compensating you...You did everything you were supposed to, so should be properly taken care of.

i think its absolutely notnormal whats going on there.
Last 2 days i sended about 4 mails to support. Never got a mail back.
Live support also not working.
I deposited 1500 on that site. They promised everything when making first deposit.
Didnt saw anything of it. Only the deposit bonus is what i got.

I have contacted Pacific about compensating you for the missed event. Did they promise anything else that they haven't delivered? I assure you it wasn't intentional on their part.

Also to the WPC special invite freeroll.
I also couldnt registering for that. But i was be able to register for that 1 few minutes be4 starting on a strange way ?

I actually don't think they have the ability to register individual players.
What they said they would do (which they didn't) was open up the tournament to all Pacific players soon before it started. That way you would have been able to register for it. My guess is that they simply forgot.
I've emailed them and will work to get you compensated. I'm sorry for your disappointment in missing the tournament and will work to rectify it.

Actually, that email you received is just wrong. People were added to that tournament based on their link to our affiliate account, not a list that we provided.
Dee, our affiliate manager contacted us today. She has asked their tournament team to credit you with a free entry into a $110 WSOP satellite. I would expect you to hear from them soon.

Well heres what happened. When we first talked about a 2nd Pacific promo, it was just going to be for a WPC seat (no $110 seats). But we ended up getting the $110 WSOP seats added. This created confusion and the folks that needed to add players to the event today (16:00 est) didn't know they were supposed to do so.
Heres the latest from last night
"We'll try to grab that list of players during tonight, but it is possible we missed deadlines mainly due to time zone differences (as Dee is in the US right now). If it is too late, I can guarantee you we'll let them play the exact same satellite the week after. Your players will get what 888 promised them"
So, I'm not certain that we'll get you in the event today, though they will follow through with a seat next week at the latest.

The players there are awful... 6max limit and it's regularly 3 or 4 to a showdown !! Needs some adjustment in my style to cope
