So what is the definiton of Rakeshae and how is it different than contributed method if there is any difference

Rake share means you get a rake allocation just for being dealt cards. Contributed rake means you get a percentage of the rake equal to the percentage you contribute to the pot. (there are some small variance with how percentages are calculated when the rake hits the table max)

So for example, 10 player game, and the action results in HU to the flop and say $1 is raked. Rake share means that you would get 10cents for being at the table... doesn't matter if you folded, made it to showdown or even won the hand. For contributed, you would need to be 1 of the 2 who see the flop to get anything and your rakeback under this method would be 50cents (not withstanding blinds).

In both cases, it is multiplied by your Rakeback rate to determin what you're paid.

If you're loose, aggro and like shorthanded, you do well on contributed ('cos your in more pots). If you're tight and prefer full ring then Share is the better option. (you can fold all day long and still get the same rakeback)
