I need advice on which site would be best for me. I have been playing online at multiple sites for the last three or four years. Over that time, I have been basically a break even player without rakeback or proping. I usually play no limit .25/.50 and .50/1, full tables (9 or 10), whichever the site has. I try to play solid. I realize that I play too passive and tight at times, especially when my bankroll gets low. I feel like proping or getting rakeback would give me enough advantage to be a winning player. I don't have a lot of options because I just recently learned about rakeback and proping and I have an account on most major sites.
I am in the process of getting a rakeback account on Absolute and have recently signed up for rakeback on Cake. I have signed up to be a prop at a couple sites, but feel each don't have enough traffic yet. To be honest, my game don't fit well short handed so propping may not be for me.

In the past, Absolute was probably my least favorite site. Things may have changed, but the site used to be very tight at my limits. I do know a check takes a week to ten days from there and the fee is I think $8. I have played only a couple days at Cake, but the games seem "soft" and they offer 33% rakeshare, but checks are slower and they charge $30.

Do you think I should try Absolute, Cake, or try and open up my game and be a prop on a smaller site? All advice and comments will be appreaciated!

Folding the best hand is only a minor mistake.

Folding the best hand is only a minor mistake. :cool:cake. U can get the %33 rakeback and also the $500 sign up bonus. It works out to about a %65 rakeback deal when u weigh in the sign up bonus and the rakeback.

Set up an account ewalletexpress and play at cake or a skin of cake and only play there when yourworking off a bonus and getting rakeback. Then when you need to cashout deposit at absolute and then play there a few days then cashout by the 8 dollar check. That will save you a little bit of cash because cake charges 2 much for a check and ewalletexpress withdrawl to a bank account and insane.

Thanks you very much for the previous replies. It seems like I have already made a mistake at Cake. I only initially deposited $50 because I thought all the deposit bonus would be deducted from the rakeback.
What does it cost and how long does it take to move money from site to site using ewallet? You made a good point about moving money to a site, then getting a check. The fees associated with ewallet kept me from funding my account at Carbon when my credit/debit card failed. (10% up to $150 is rediculous)

Thanks again for the replies!

I funded ewalletexpress with $100 thats it.I think it was a 10% to deposit from my bank account but im not 100% sure. then moving cash from site to site is free. Their are many skins of cake you can play at to get rakeback and the sign up bonus.

I think Cake and the skins all have the same policy regarding the bonus...It's deducted from your total rake, not from your rakeback. So if you rake $1k but receive $200 in bonus, your 33% rakeback will be based on $800 instead of $1k. You still come out nicely using both.

I don't see other rakeback options on Cake "skins" at RBN. Will I automatically receive rake, if I play through a different skin or would I have to go through a different affiliate to sign up?

We do have one offering at a Cake skin that we haven't gone live with yet, but we expect to soon. Drop me a note if you'd like to be our guinea pig there...But the value you receive is the same as going directly with Cake.
