Please read this before posting in the Hand Histories section.
This section of the forum is specifically for hand analysis. It is meant to be an informative and engaging discussion on specific hand histories. Posts on general strategy should go in the appropriate section so hand histories only here please. Bad beats should go in the Bad Beat section, but if you have a specific issue that just happens to result in a bad beat then post it along with your query.

Posting preferences –
It is preferable to format a hand history into a succinct description of events either manually or using an online hand convertor. It makes it easier for everyone to read and you will get more out of it.
It is preferable if you take out player names, we play on small sites and therefore often against each other . Lets not make it personal. Re name players as Villian ,Hero or by table position for example. And if you recognise yourself as Villian, we don’t want to know. Focus on the play. This section is not for personal attacks or vendettas.
Try and include as much relevant info as possible with regards to table dynamics. Stakes, stack sizes if relevant , what image do you have, what image is villain etc.
Hands can be posted as a complete hand history with or without the result or can be posted as a “play along” where each street is posted separately after comment. Play alongs can be very insightful.
Try to make titles relevant to the hand eg AK early position missed flop. That way, it will be easier to find specific situations that we want to review in the future.

Posting rules –
You may challenge and criticise posts robustly but personal attacks on other members are not permitted. The section is about improving our game. It is not a place for name calling. All posts should be constructive. Inflammatory and non constructive posts will be deleted.
You may not start critical threads about other members
You may not Troll i.e. make inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic posts with the intention of provoking other members into an emotional response or disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

Other than that, I think we should be fine. We might even learn something.

I must of tried 10 diferent converters and have never gotten one to work.
I do when I post a hand delete the crap put in spaces maybe bold things ao change colors. If I see an unedited hand history I don't even bother looking at it, it's the posters job to make it easy for me.

must admit, I've had a look round but haven't found anything compatible except for cake. As you say, it doesn't take too long to knock it into shape. Rob, maybe we could add a heart, diamond, spade and club to the smilies to make things a bit easier.
