I just signed up for rakeback with RPM. I notice they have a lot of bad beat jackpot tables, where it appears they take $.50 out of each pot raked. Are we getting rakeback on the $ they take out for the bad beat jackpot?

I don't believe so, but I will confirm for you.

Ever find out about this?
Also in the Cashier & Points tab it shows you can exchange Points for Cash. Do we qualify for that?

I prop on another merge skin (no new hires). We definitely do not get paid a portion of the 50 cents.

I'm not sure how bad it is at NL, but at 1/2 FL that 50cents adds up to close to the same amount as my 100% rakeback.

Thanks Barton, that is good to know. Some days you can get games started on the non-BBJ tables, but other days people are hell bent on sitting at those. At least now I know for sure.
I wish the inventor of BBJs the sickest of bad luck.

They really are stupid, and I can't see how they benifit the site. Sure when it gets big they get publicity, but what it does is concentrate huge amounts of money for withdrawal. Someone hits and takes 500K out of the merge community, 497K of that heads off site.

Is there any chance that CP program could be hiring again in the future? Does that ever happen? I didn't play 100nl when they closed the program to signups, and now that I do I curse not being able to get that rate

No way to know, but it's very unlikely.

No official word yet about the BBJ tables - but assume that you do not get a portion of that back. I'll find out about redeeming points as well.

Echoing Barton's comments, it is unlikely that Merge will be seeking props in the future.

Thanks for the info. I wish they would just abolish the stupid BBJ tables, but the fish always stick with them. I wish we could get something back, like I am ever gonna lose Quads over Quads.
I figured that about props, but figured I should ask anyhow. If only I knew last year it was okay to sign up as a prop to get in the program even if you wait months to deposit. I woulda thought I was taking away a spot from someone who could use it sooner. Now that I am up to 100nl and playing on Merge all the time, its quite the buzzkill. Their cash games are the nuts.

I sign up just about everywhere I hear about even if I don't think I'll play. Most of the time it's wasted effort but sometimes a Cake or a Carbon comes along.

I was just always under the impression I was taking away an opportunity from another potential hire who might be active. Now of course being that considerate has cost me.
Going forward I know better, but then again slim chance another good network like a Cake or Merge come along in the next few years. Being a US player can be frustrating!

When I joined cake I was one of about 3 players lol. Just got lucky when they grabbed the sportsbook.

I don't think you take someone elses slot if you play little or not at all. Sites don't usually take say 100 props. They take a bunch then shut it off based on amount of action not number of props. So if other props snooze they lose, don't feel guilty.

I found the timing of the following funny. I was just notified yesterday that Bxxxxxxx has started hiring new props again. Come on Merge :)

It looks like we'll be supporting Bxxxxxx props later this week. So if you haven't signed up yet - give us a chance to get it locked in.

Just noticed this was a public forum...I've blanked out the site name that you (and I) referenced...But we should be live with that site for props today or Monday.

Regarding RPM - there is no rakeback on the BBJ collection.

Also, we don't qualify for Points for Cash, so don't redeem them. I think the system will let you, but RPM will be notified and have to reverse it. Save them the effort :-).
