ok now is it normal to be negative rakeback while clearing the deposit bonus?
and if so how is this going to effect my rakerace? If anyone can fill me in on if this is an error or whats going on...
I remember reading someone else was able to get the bonus taken away since it didnt effect their rakerace but that was for a different site...
Thanks
Mr P,
I checked your account, you're in the negative (or roughly $0 after today gets updated) because of the deposit fee. theres a 10% that UB takes upon deposit. This, as well as your bonus (as you clear it) will be deducted from your rake before the 30% is factored.
Your best bet at UB if you want to have the bonus removed is to contact them directly. Their support is generally pretty good, but if you get trouble, loop me in and I'll try to help.
My guess though is that you're better off keeping the bonus and taking the 30% hit on rakeback and the drop in the rake race standings than dropping the bonus...But do the math and act accordingly. Hope this helps.

It makes no sense to get the bonus removed, the bonus is worth much more than the extra money you could make in the rake race.
The deposit fees used to be only for US-Players. Does anybody know if the cash you get for the Absolutepoints will get deducted from the rake?
AFAIK theres no deduction for the use of points at all.

deposit fees... hmmm I see.. scandalous sites these days wanna charge you for everything... oh well, thats the price we pay.
To their credit, they rock at getting deposits in from Americans. I don't think you'll find a site that's more accepting of US credit cards. It's not inexpensive.
But philosophically I agree - fees and deductions are things they should cover and should be separate from rakeback. You should be encouraged to deposit, not punished for doing so.

Rob,
Very very true... I did enjoy that I was able to deposit with my 0% CC for a year... its like getting staked without having to pay a & out... LOL
Always nice to be able to keep your actual cash in the bank... :D
