I just signed up with victory poker for the $600 sign up bonus and %40 rakeback. As rob had stated, it works out to be over %100 rakeback when u combine the two. I was hoping to make a quick $2000 ina couple of months of play on this site and then leave and go back to the cake network.

This hand made me rethink why i even bother to play poker. First off, i know i want guys to call with bad odds, but, i just cant seem to win wherever i play against these players.

I honestly cannot remember a time in the past 6 months where i have won more then 2 buy ins, on a given day. This day is no exception due to getting beat like this.

I honestly think i played the hand correctly, he is just a donk and i cant friggen beat the donkeys. They beat me so badly all the time that i become one after bad beats like this. They throw me off my game and i just am mireable for the rest of the session.

I wish i could play better, but, i cant, i wish i had some luck but i dont.

I am seriously considering quitting after getting beat like this time after time.

I dont have a euro symbol so pretend this $ is a euro sign. This was a Euro table on victory poker.

5 handed(one player sitting out) The one guy raises to $1.75. The guy on the button reraises to $7.50. Im sitting in the small blind with ace-ace-jack jack, both suited in diamonds and hearts. I dont want to play this hand with three players so, i reraise it to $22. The first raiser calls basically all in, and the other guy calls. The flop is ace-jack-queen(2 clubs). I went all in for my last 25 euros. He called me, Cards are turned over and i am surprised to see such a shit hand, but, he has clubs. Boom, right on the turn a club and the board does not pair on river. I lose again with huge hand.

How the hell a guy can call 25 euros preflop with that hand is beyond me. The game is omaha high, not high low. I cannot take more beats like that. I feel ive had more then my share of them this past year and i am not the same person i used to be. Im a grumpy old man like Lee will say. Even grumpier now.

And then i find out the rake on that hand was 5 euros:( wtf? $7.00 american was taken in that hand in rake. Are there really that many dumb Europeons in the world that would play that site and pay that kind of rake?

Anyways, just a rant and remember LEE, this is in the bad beat/whiners section.

As for the beat(s)..We all get em ...totally irrelevant
$7 American are you kidding me..I just signed up there as a RB player..I Did not deposit anything yet and will not now...as soft as the games are there with that much rake you cant afford any suckouts like the AAJJ hand.

I answered in the other thread first, with that much already in preflop, you are stuck calling. With AAJJ I don't like that flop though. In the real world you are up against a made str8 and a flush draw, and 2 of your boat outs are in your hand.

Everleaf tells us they'll be implementing a system that will let the skins decide if they're going to charge the full 5 euros rake, or if they're going to offer a discount (aside from rakeback). There was quite a backlash to the 5 euro rake, but their Italian skins (who provide the fish) want to keep it high because their players don't care.

Also worth noting - as a rakeback player clearing a bonus and potentially getting other perks like Race / Chase prizes, the cost of the rake is less of an issue at Everleaf. For Cainer clearing at over 100% it's a non-issue, for people clearing at 70% or so, its an issue but less of one when you compare what the true value is at a site like Tilt.

All that said, I agree, 5 euros, eeek.

I like that idea, of letting the skins decide. Hopefully the ones RBN supports are among those who will lower rake back down to the industry standard.

We're whores. If we need to add a different skin in order to have access to lower rake, we certainly will. I suspect though that atleast one of the skins we work with now would support a drop in rake.

On standard US keyboards, hold down either the Alt key and type 0128 on the numeric keypad part of your keyboard

and just for fun
alt+5 = ♣
alt+6 = ♠
alt+3 = ♥
alt+4= ♦

Don't feel bad cainer.
Everyone is waiting around for me to bet their hands for them and i keep doing it. I mean you have to be a bit more aggressive these days on most sites. Maybe one day I will learn how to get out of a bluff. (maybe not)
If you want easy money play on p4e and nut peddle, you know like the old days on party poker.
