There are bad beat stories....but this I never thought I'd ever see.

I was playing at the casino the other day when this hand appeared (this is a $1/2 NL game with max $100 buy-in):

UTG limps in, 2 other limp in, Im on the button with KK; I raise to $15... SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls so do the other 2 limpers.

flop: 3AA
UTG checks, other 2 check, I bet $20
UTG calls, other 2 fold

turn: 3AA-K
UTG checks, I bet $20 (worried about UTG with AK or A3), UTG calls

river: 3AA-K-K
UTG bets $40, I (thinking UTG has nut-full house) raise all-in $250, UTG calls

I immediately say "quads!", UTG says, "same here"

Now THAT SUCKED.... fortunately over the next 2 hours I win the amount of that entire pot back from the quy with quad aces... but wow... that was one messed up hand.

nope! have made 2 natural royals at this casino also along with a few straight flushes (fallsview, location october WPT north american championship)... got a "wow, nice hand" twice from the supervisor.

hmmmm.... which gives me an idea. hey noah or chip, ever thought about small badbeat jackpot ($50 or something like that... or $10/week growing pot) for props.. they have to post a screenshot of the hand or the hand history history to win the prize.

Thought about it before but the logistics of it all seemed to be way too much.

Although the having to post it in a thread would take care of that.

Hmm.. We'll see.
