Anybody else going to watch?

I've become a big fan over the last year or so and haven't missed one since.

Put some bets down too-

David Loiseau vs. Mike Swick
Loiseau $50 to win $50

Sucker Parlay Bet-
BJ Penn
David Loiseau
Jason Lambert
Joe Lauzon
Gabe Ruediger

$10 bet to win $2610

P.S. I hope Matt Hughes gets his ass kicked.

Loiseau is going to kill him.

Your parlay is awful (Lambert and Ruediger are junk and Penn will lose).

Hughes is going to win in a walk (despite the fact that he is the most boring fighter in the world).

I'm going to throw a hundred on Loisau

Get on AIM so I can talk shit...haah

Well, you got one right. And fortunately WSEX closed the book before I could get my loiseau bet in...

I knew the parlay was junk. I just like to throw a few dollars on a longshot/big payoff parlay now and then. Plus it gives me a rooting interest in the shitty fights.

Man, Penn should have won that.

I'm just giving you a hard time.

Penn wins that fight if he has more than 6 weeks notice and gets his ass in shape.

don't be so sure. penn trained hard for st.pierre and still gassed in the second round. he just doesn't seem to have the fire. fighters should be training year round anyways, and 6-8 weeks is about the norm one takes to train for a specific opponent.

i can't believe you guys were writing off mike swick. loiseau is a little overrated because he trains with gsp and his elbows are deadly. but he looked pathetic for 4.5 rounds vs franklin and he could'nt even beat a guy like jorge rivera. plus he has a head of an alien.

i'm a big mma fan, but some of these ufc cards aren't really worth the $40. that tim sylvia vs andre arlovski card was the worst ufc i've ever seen. i didn't bother getting the last chuck liddell ppv becuase the list of fights looked so so bad. sure it could be fun to see bonner and griffin duke it out again but i already know who the much better fighter is.

ufc needs to either sign a whole bunch of pride fighters or stop pumping out these main events every month. i often find the card on the live events on spike tv to have more interesting fights than the watered down ppv. the state of the ufc right now isn't very strong:

heavyweight is a joke, there's at least 4 fighters in pride much better than syliva.

light heavyweight: no one seems to be able to beat or want to fight chuck liddell, now it doesn't look like the wanderlei silva fight will even happen. rashad evans said, "i need more time". where is brandon vera?

middleweight: franklin, silva(from pride) and then mike swick i guess. bring over dan henderson please.

welterweight: by far ufc's best division, but hughes, gsp, and penn are so far ahead of anyone else it's sick. dirty, i mean diego sanchez would get bloodbathed by hughes or gsp. the 3 of them do the same stuff except hughes and gsp are so much bigger and stronger than diego. plus gsp can strike. i can't wait til diego finally gets beat down by one of these guys. one spinning back kick to his soft belly should do it.

lightweight: kinda fun. nobody is dominant, everyone is quick and no one gasses.

ufc needs to do the type of tournament stuff pride does. who wouldn't want to see gsp vs liddell, or franklin vs liddell or liddell vs arlovski. i'd like to see hughes not have to cut weight and fight some bigger guys. right now the state of the ufc is a little flat and rather dull. i mean, seriously, ortiz vs shamrock 3? is this really necessary? at least it's not ppv.

Honestly, this will be the worst fight in the history of mma. AND no one cares. The problem with pride is the format seems so raw to me. I enjoy the octagon and the presentation of the UFC. But the cards have been awful lately. Perhaps the worst thing will be the winner of Ultimate Fight 4 v. Franklin. Whoever wins the competition is going to get killed. I mean honestly.

actually didn't jorge rivera already fight franklin and give him a solid match? but still i agree with you. although i think the welterweights have less of a chance vs hughes or gsp. so many of them have fought lightweight in the past and i could see hughes and gsp fight light heavyweight if they were so inclined. those two are so much bigger it doesn't seem fair, but then again that never stopped bj penn.
